Family

Dana lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband and two daughters. She is deeply connected to her family and tribe. She enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and traveling to North Carolina and powwows with her family. A huge fan of Indian fry bread, she also does competitive dancing at powwows. One of her greatest joys is watching her daughters compete in powwow competitions and embracing their culture alongside elders and relatives.
