Dana lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband and two daughters. Deeply rooted in her family and tribe, she enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, and traveling to North Carolina to see relatives. She competes in powwow dancing alongside her daughters and loves watching them embrace their culture -- and sharing a piece of Indian fry bread along the way.
